In addition to this, we paid 2.9 billion euros into social security and company pension schemes. The company pension scheme enables our employees to top up their statutory pensions. Personnel expenditure accounted for 28.3 percent of Deutsche Telekom‘s adjusted total operating costs of 53.8 bill- ion euros.
